Seminars are usually interactive sessions where the participants engage in discussions on the topic. It is an opportunity for students to improve their communication skills, presentation skills and content knowledge. So Seminars play an important role in the curriculum.
Merlin Julias of B.Ed Batch (2018-20), SEM-I presented a seminar on NRC Updation in Assam on which is a burning issue these days. The National Register of Citizens (NRC) is a register containing names of all genuine Indian citizens residing in Assam. The register was first prepared after 1951. Merlin focused on the purpose of NRC in Assam and the content of NRC draft. It was an informative session organized under the guidance of Prof. Sarita Negi.
