Students’ Seminar on “Nipah Virus”

Students’ Seminar on “Nipah Virus” November 02, 2018

A lot of “learning at one clip” could be imagined as an importance of attending and conducting seminars. Students’ Seminars are a way to make others understand, what their idea all about is. Making students take seminars on the subject topics would always help them more to understand the topic. By taking Seminars in front of their teachers and friends, the students will be able to talk before a crowd later in their life without any difficulty. Debarati DebBarman, one of the pupil teachers of ICFAI Education School presented a seminar on “Nipah Virus”.

She informed that Nipah virus is a zoonotic virus which could be transmitted to humans from animals (such as bats or pigs), or contaminated foods and directly from human-to-human. If certain measures are taken like maintaining hygiene, avoiding direct contact with bats or pigs, avoiding drinks made near the palm trees, avoiding intake of fallen fruits, the attack of the virus could be minimized; she revealed. She also highlighted the chart showing the transfer of the virus from bats to humans through pigs. It was an information rich seminar by her.
